Choosing the Best Atomizer for Wax, Oil, Shatter, CO2, and Dry Herb

Picking the best atomizer can be difficult when there are so many options available.

Here at SOURCEvapes, we like to give you the option to select the one you like most at a great value with high quality.

Wax (Pasty or Granular)

  • SOURCE terra - Lighter hit, fullest flavor. Let SOURCE terra bake for approximately 3 seconds prior to hit.
  • Quartz or Ceramic Double Coil - Heaviest hit
  • Quartz Single Coil - Mid-Range strength hit

Shatter (Stable)

  • SOURCE terra - Lighter hit, fullest flavor. Let terra bake for approximately 3 seconds prior to hit.
  • Quartz and Ceramic Double Coil - Heaviest hit
  • Quartz Single Coil  - Mid-Range strength hit

Shatter (Unstable)

  • SOURCE terra - Lighter hit, fullest flavor. On unstable concentrates, you may want to let the terra "bake" about 5 seconds before hitting.
  • Quartz and Ceramic Double Coil - Heaviest hit. It is recommended to load smaller amounts on for unstable concentrates.
  • Quartz Single Coil - Mid-Range strength hit. It is recommended to load smaller amounts on wickless for unstable concentrates.

CO2 Concentrate

  • SOURCE terra - Lighter hit, fullest flavor, but CO2 often does not taste good. Let terra "bake" on CO2 for about 5 seconds.
  • Quartz and Single Double Coil - Heaviest hit. It is recommended to load smaller amounts on wickless for CO2.
  • Quartz Single Coil - Mid-Range strength hit. It is recommended to load smaller amounts on wickless for CO2.

Dry Herb

  • Ceramic Double Coil - Heaviest hit. Grind herb finely for a great hit. This will be a combustion hit (like a pipe), not vaporization.
  • SOURCE Dry Herb Hitter - Heavier hit, combusts, grind herb finely.
  • SOURCE Dry Herb Baker - Light hit, partial vaping partial combustion. Ground herb finely for use
